2 Hours a month to a better physique?

It can surely work. I am not claiming to be arnold but for an "Average Joe" with 6 1/2 inch wrists I am not doing bad. I am currently 5′7" 183 lbs. 17" arms and 34" waist. Bodyfat is currently 14%. My total workout is 3 sets performed every 4 to 5 days. So basically I spend about 2 hours a month working out. Sure leaves alot of time for my kids! I had my daughter take a quick picture of me tonight just for laughs. No pumping or special lighting. Just a 7 year old taking a picture. Just wanted to make a point that "Superslow Consolidation" training can still build a "decent" physique.

Well done mate…your training is very efficient.

Can you list your exact routine for us? And maybe rep cadence, rep-range etc?

Cheers

I train Monday,Friday and Wednesday over a two week period. I normally alternate two different workouts although I have did nothing but workout 1 for extended periods of time. Workout 1 is Chest Press,Pulldown and Squat. Workout 2 is Chest Press,Vertical Row and Deadlift. Each exercise is done at a 10/10 cadence to positive failure. Each exercise has a 40-80 second TUL. That′s pretty much it. No isolation exercises. No aerobics. No supplements. Just hard work. Get Doug Mcguff′s "Ultimate Exercise" if you want to read about the most efficient training. Although I disagree with the idea that one workout every 7-10 days is enough (I train twice in that same 7-10 day period) the book is the "bible" for effective resistance training.
