when is a mucsle a lagging muscle and what to apply for it????!!!!

Hello fellow HD-ers

despite my kinda bad lasts post this a real thinker 😛 so here goes.

when is a muscle considerd a lagging body part? when it does not gain enough in strenght? or when it does not gain enough in size?

when you look at the improved consol. routine, in the seminar mike stats that you can add isolation movements for lagging parts, does this mean add them above the normal 4 exercises? i mean my triceps are weak hence lagging part so i wanna "boost" them, does this mean add a isolation movement for them, and remove dips? or add the iso and keep dips and just remove lets say deads for overall recovery or should i just increase rest days or even drop to 1set a workout?? seems with experimenting you can figure out what to do and the most logical is to add rest/ go to 1 set per workout, but when does a person apply the isolation movements then?

Later guys

ps B&G; your not posting your updates agian? havent seen one for about 2 weeks now

Crovax,

In my opinion, if you have gained some overall strength and size using the Consolidation Routine and then afterwards notice a couple bodyparts that are a little behind in size then I think it would be best to keep the 4 exercises you have been using but stop 1 or 2 reps short of failure on those four just to maintain your strength and size while at the same time adding an isolation exercise or pre-exhaust using high intensity variables, forced reps, negatives, restpause, etc. for the lagging bodypart.

Crovax-I usually post an update every 2 weeks, but i took an extra week off this time around. Work was taking its toll on me and i decided that a break would do me good. I trained this past Friday though and i think will do so again tomorrow, so I′ll be posting another update soon 😉

my thoughts are in line with what EQ said, and I′ll add that another option might be to stick a "specialization" session in between the normal consolidated training sessions wherein you only work the lagging bodypart(s) with some isolation movements.

thanks for the replys guys, im confident that i will find the right answer to my question, for now i just drop deads and see how it goes.

for those who are interested, i actuall gained 2more kgs while i wasnt even paying attention to my diet, im up to 85 kg now and i decided its time to cut down until im pretty lean, i figured i dont wanna be big, never gonna be either so ill look much better when im cut down more, besides i hate the fat that coves my ab area.

basic plan is to cut down calories to 2200 and get lean without any cardio what so ever. ill keep you guys posted on how it goes, and when im actually cut down ill post some pictures too

later guys!
