Ester Creatine and Water loss

When i′m trying to rid my body of excess water should i stop taking ester creatine?

I know supplement companies claim that ester creatine doesn′t work like the monohydrate version but would ester creatine help or hurt my efforts at cutting out water?

I feel like trying it. Just to see how i would look like if i got rid of that extra water. I will start that soon after the summer is done with. And i want to know if creatine can get in the way of that. I′m sure Monohydrate can but i am wondering if ester can too?
