The earliest hint of overtraining

Or maybe I should say "overdose" because overtraining is a much more serious complication.
What I mean by overdose is too much in one workout (too deep of an inroad) and in my personal experience if I do overdose, my appetite suffers for several hours. You know when you feel nauseous, but instead what should be felt in a fairly short time after your workout is hunger!
I believe if the workout is productive appetite should also be stimulated. Just my thought, as my own experience is all I got!
