FULL BODY ROUTINE

Anybody out there doing a Heavy Duty HIT full-body routine?

Mine is:
1. Leg Press
2. Pulldowns
3. Seated Machine Dips

6-10 reps to failure...

I′d like to know if anyone has had success with something similar or different...

Many Thanks, Mike

Actually that looks good,
With the leg press try higher reps and full range to get the work. Too many go too heavy, but don′t. Stay strict and controlled. Btw it may nit be a bad idea to do a set of leg extensions to pre exhaust, then do ten reps or so on leg press.
Good lifting

1. Squats (which I do on a Powertec Leverage Squat/Calf Machine).
2. Standing Calf Raises (on the same machine).
3. Close-Grip, Palms-Up Chin-Ups.
4. Dips.

It′s based on an article by Arthur Jones, namely My First Half-Century in the Iron Game, chapter #68.

B-Wine,
That routine you posted looks similar to what I do except mine is the split version, and I do deadlifts.
My squats are done with a trap bar.
Is that one workout, or do you split the routine?

That′s one workout, no split.

I like the idea of stimulating as much muscle mass as possible in one workout, and then letting your whole body recover as a unit.

Also, I think this way you can make the most use of the "indirect effect" Arthur Jones talked about.
