Give it a shot
Deadlifts with Olympic bar or trap bar:
Lift, shrug it, lower it and repeat!
I can′t believe that I have ever heard of this before, but I also don′t believe that this idea hasn′t come up before. I have just never heard of it.
Possibly the deadlifting weight may be too much to shrug.

Bob Paris has this movement in a couple of his BBing books from the early 90s. He doesn′t do it as a from the floor deadlift though. He stops just below the knees at the lowest.
I′ve done it before and it′s really just a modified shrug. I think it′s more effective to just do normal shrugs and deadlifts separately. The half deadlift/shurg doesn′t really serve any purpose for the back since the weights are so low to get the shrug portion done.

That′s also the conclusion that I came too, I don′t believe I could shrug 350 lbs.
Oh well it was just a thought for the moment
