Powerlifting comp.

Thursday I weighted 230 lbs. Friday from 800pm– Saturday at 800pm I had no food or liquid. Saturday I put sweat suit on and sweated off and on most of the day. I weigted in at 800pm Saturday night. 218!!!!! Began as soon as I got off scale drinking water and eating a MRP bar. Drove across the street from comp. site to McD′s had chicken sandwich and fries. Drove home ate bowl of cereal and some chicken with bisquits. Went to bed at 1230am. 225lbs!!! Cutting weight was a success.

I had a great cycle of training for this comp. and it showed. Squats 1. 496, 2. 518, 3. 535 Bench press 1. 353, 2. 369, 3. 375(miss) Deadlift 1. 470??, 2. 507, 3. 524

These were done with just knee wraps and wrist wraps. Squat and deadlift PR!!! I will put my videos on youtube. Search kjkevin and you will find it.

Those are some Huge numbers you put up!.That′s awesome!.I think it′s even better that you did it all without a lifting suit. From what I′ve heard about lifting suits, they can help people lift much much more than they could without one.Keep it real!.

Kjkevin,

I just watched your videos,Great stuff!.
I notice that you use a close stance for Deadlifts.Obviously it works very well for you.Do you find that you get more or less leg involvement with the close stance?.I guess all lifters have their own style. Some guy′s use very wide sumo stance.I personally use a stance a bit closer than shoulder width. But I use a trap bar.I′m not sure if you get the same leg involvement with a straight bar as a trap bar?.I find your close stance interesting because from watching your videos you look quite tall?.If you have time to elaborate on your technique,I′d be very interested.

Thanks,
