How do you guys handle your preworkout? Motivation, energy levels, concentration, etc… Do you have a ritual? Do you take supplements?

I sit and stare at my power rack and weights and think about why I am training and what I want to achieve and look like.I think of those moments from way back in high school when I was really skinny and look at how far I′ve come.And how much further I′d like to go.It might sound strange but I also sometimes have to think about certain things/events/people to really get myself pissed off,almost in a rage!.But not always….it′s not healthy….lol!

I take a very business like aproach. Around 45 min. before workout I grab an energy drink and look over my workout journal. I gather belt, wraps and whatever else I will need to take into the workout with me. By the time I′m in the gym I know exactly what needs to be done. I approach my main workset with much focus. No screaming or yelling, just incredible amount of focus. Sometimes the night before a workout I will read HEAVY DUTY I chapter on motivation.

either do it or take another day off. thinking too much can cause you trouble. if you must motivate yourself then you might not be convinced about HD
|
