Ants Consolidation Log |
|

Hi guys thought i would set up a log for the Consolidation Routine im about to start.
Workout A Dead Lifts 1×5 Dips 1×5
7 Days Rest
Workout B Squats 1×5 Pul Ups 1×5
7 Days rest
Repeat
Current Stats Age 16 Hieght 175cm Weight 60kg
Did my first workout today: Deadlifts 1 set of 5 reps 125kg Dips 1 set of 5 reps Body Weight + 20kg plate

I hope it works and I commend you for trying. Most 16 year olds in the US are training with about 20 sets each of bench presses and curls, per workout.

i used to be like that, but got addicted to getting better and relized to get better i needed to use logical training which in my opinion is the mike mentzer way lol.

I agree with EQ, if you′re hitting failure at 5 reps, it′s pretty low. Not that 5 reps sets arent great for building strength and size but with only one set of each, you′re gtting very little workload volume per session.
If you′re not hitting failure, then only one set of 5 on dips, pullups and squats probably wont do much for you.
