Has anyone tried the routines from Ellington Dardens book The New High Intenisty Training?

No but I have tried routines from his previous books like BIG and BIGGER MUSCLES in 42 days and they worked very well for me. Although I do not agree with some of his ideas I still have very high regards to Dr. Darden as as one of the foremeost and credible HIT Theorist today.

I′m doing a modification of his original HIT workout and working out 3x a week with the middle workout as the not-to-failure one. So far, it′s going pretty well. I′m more of a Darden HITter than a Mentzer HITter.

ive been doing them for about 8 weeks now and my bench went from 155 to 205… ive been getting good results for mass and strength…. i actually tried to go back to a regular split and it just doesnt compare to hit..

Im doing something based on it; 8 exercises every 72 hours (not 48!). It′s working v. well in that I am getting stronger and a touch bigger.
I plan to use the following routine for 6weeks, interrupted for two weeks by specialization trainning(for variation and to zap my tiny shoulders!), followed by a repetition of the 6 week routine.

Seat Forward lateral raise
Smith straight leg deadlift
Smith Bench Press
DEEP leg press
Barbell Curl
Dumbell Press
Calf press in leg press machine
Crunches
