Deadlift and shoulder tendons

I′m off training at the moment with strained shoulder tendons. How much strain on the shoulder tendons is there when deadlifting?
I′m thinking that as the arms stay straight that it might not be too bad and I could start a consolidated routine of just Deadlifting & squatting until my shoulders are better.
Any thoughts?

deadlifting is pretty strenuous for the whole body really. I would advise to give your injury time to heal before training at all. if its really bad, I′d consider seeing a Dr too.

best of luck!

I had the same problem and went to my Cyro and he gave me the following supplements by Standard Process Inc: Ligaplex I and Myo-Plus.
Taking that made it so I could start working out after just a few days.

I would bet that deadlifting will not bother your shoulder tendons. Start light and see how it goes. Keep your back slightly arched at all times, focus your eyes to look upward at all times, and move slowly–4 seconds up and 4 seconds down.

Did your pain begin as a result of bench pressing?

Cheers peeps.
I don′t know how I hurt them, they just got sorer each workout until i′ve had to stop.
I see a physio each month for back/neck issues and he′s told me to lay off the weights for a few weeks and ice up alot but as you guys are aware, it sux when you have to stop training.
