Isometric Machine

Hola

Has anyone in the forum bought any of those Isometric machine advertised in Pete Sisco web sight? If yes, do they really work? I read the meter can read up to 17,000lbs. Below is the link to the web sight.

I gather no one has ever seen these machine. I dont know if they work or not. But I heard of people gaining crazy strenght doing static contraction workouts. There main concern is that as they grow stronger the more weight they put on the regular machine. They are afraid these machines will brake down, hurt them. So Isomtric machine′s are safer.

To me they kinda resemble a little the Nordic track (Isokinetic resistance) But Nordic track has regular reps. But they dont provide Negative resistance.

Isometric machines are way too expensive.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In concept, with the way I already train… (I use partials and static contractions mostly) That would be the best piece of equipment I have ever seen. I would love to meet someone who owns it.

Yeah Golgo, I think if they work, they would be amazing. They have a meter that can go up as high 17,000. I think they are a little diffrent than static hold. Becuase your not holding weight, your pushing against a immovable bar. But I still think they should be looked at. Peter Sisco is one of the guys that are pushing these machines. If you check out his site there is a link that take′s you to them.

I cant afford them but I would love to know an owner′s input on them.

Asside from the fact that no one could afford them… who could store them?
