My Mentzer Collection

Hi all,

Yesterday I received my copy of the DVD "Mike Mentzer: The Final Chapter" from Wayne R. Gallasch from GMV Productions and I find it quite enjoyable (especially the part "Ray Mentzer Mr. America – The man behind the title"). It gave me the idea of summing up my complete Mike Mentzer collection so far.

1. DVD′s:

* Mike Mentzer: At the Beach & Muscle Rocks
* Mike & Ray Mentzer in the Gym
* Mike Mentzer: The Final Chapter
* 1980 Mr. Olympia – Double DVD Set (I also have "The Comeback" on DVD)
* Mike Mentzer′s Underground Seminar Part 1 & 2
* Mike Mentzer′s HIT Exercise DVD

2. Books:

* Heavy Duty Journal (German version)
* Heavy Duty Nutrition (booklet downloaded from the Internet)
* The Mentzer Method to Fitness – A Revolutionary Weight-Training System for Men and Women
* Heavy Duty (1993)
* Heavy Duty (1993, German version)
* Heavy Duty II: Mind And Body
* Muscles in Minutes
* High-Intensity Training the Mike Mentzer Way
* The Wisdom of Mike Mentzer

3. Audio:

* Mike Mentzer′s New Advanced High Intensity Training Program (200 minutes of motivating audio tape lectures on 4 cassettes, including a 40 page training guide)
* Mike Mentzer Interview III for Muscle Media 2000 (comes as the soundtrack on the DVD Mike & Ray Mentzer in the Gym)
* An audio interview with PRODOS.COM radio (check: http://prodos.com/archive060mentzerandbowring.html).

4. Clips:

Different video clips downloaded from the Internet, including a recorded session of Mike as a personal trainer in the 1990′s.

5. Pics:

Different pictures downloaded from the Internet (for example from: http://www.schwarzenegger.it/mro/mentzer.html).

6. Articles:

Different articles from muscle magazines like IronMan, Flex and Muscle & Fitness, and some articles downloaded from the Internet (for example from Mike′s official website www.mikementzer.com).

Not bad, eh? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey B-WINE, that is an awesome collection dude. I am very envious, I have a few books but may invest in some DVD′s too.

Cheers

Thanks for all the nice compliments, guys! I must admit that after posting this, I was a bit afraid people might think I was just being boastful. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Stevo,

If you want some advise about those Mentzer DVD′s, just ask anytime, okay? Some DVD′s have more practical value than others, which are just for fun and motivation.

omnicontraction,

You′re collection is impressive, too. Especially your books: awesome!

Could you please answer a few questions about them?

1. How do the routines in the old Heavy Duty courses like HD Arms and HD Chest and Back differ from Mike′s later routines? Are those booklets still avaiable and if so, do you know where to get them?

2. What′s the difference between the original HD and the revised HD from 1993? What was the routine in the original version?

3. How did you get all those older books from Mike?

4. Where did you find the Muscle Media 2000 Interview I?

5. What is the EAS Seminar?

Many thanks in advance!
