Don′t use advanced techniques until you′re on Heavy Duty for about 6 months. Then do maybe 1 technique every other workout on 1 exercise.

Start by using statics and forced reps and eventually negatives only after you have been training for a good 6 months like Darrell said. I′d leave negatives as the last intensity technique in my arsenal only after using all the rest (cheat reps, forced, statics). If you are still progressing even after around 6 months, I wouldn′t worry about these techniques unless of course you start stalling and even then I would check recovery before intensity.
