45 degree leg press |

Does anyone know the weight of the sled of the leg press. I did not look at the manufacturer, but it may be paramount? Just so I get an idea of how much I am using.

Hey andyman. When I was forced to swithced to diffrent legpresses. I always looked up the company that manufactured the legpress and found out how much the sled wieght. They all gave me the same weight for the sled, 90lbs. I hope that helps.

andyman,
Every brand equipment has a slightly different FEEL to it. I wouldn′t care too much about the PRECISE amount of resistance it offers as long as it provides the RIGHT amount of RESISTANCE within my REP RANGE(TUL). After you have performed on it the FIRST time I think you will have a good idea on how much you resistance you would be using on your NEXT workout. Although I always recommend UNDERESTIMATING the load a little bit on your FIRST try so as to get ACCUSTOMED to the FEEL of the groove of the equiptment. As long as you train to failure you′ll be fine. PEACE.
