Mike carb recommendations |

Hey guys Does anyone know what kinda carbs Mike usually recommended on his diet? From his diet journal it looked like he liked to eat fruit on his diet and so on? I′m tired of eating the same old carbs day in day out on diet, and since I′m starting my pre contest diet on the 16th of April, I want to sort out my carbs before hand. I usually eat oats and potatoes or sweet potatoes on diet but I can′t really stomach it anymore. So I want to replace it with fruits such as banana, apple and oranges. Advice?

I don′t think Mike shied away from any carbs as long as his calories for the day were in check. His competition journal showed he ate cake, ice cream, fruit, croissants and potatoes regularly. I think his advice would be to hit your macros and get adequate nutrition, then have whatever you like carb wise.

In his earlier career, Dorian Yates also ate candy bars during pre-contest dieting. As long as his daily calorie intake was below a maintenance level, he could eat whatever he wanted and still lose fat.
