Still doing original HD routine. Friday was back,biceps
back straight arm pullovers 1x15x165 supersetted with pulldowns 1x7x240 rest 2 min. straight arm pullovers 1x12x175 supersetted with pulldowns 1x5x250
bent over rows 1x12x275 shrugs 1x10x405
biceps preacher curls 1x10x130 supersetted with db curls 1x9x55 preacher curls 1x9x130 supersetted with close grip pulldowns 1x10x170
Good workout! I might start experimenting with strip sets from time to time also. I am finding good results with alternating the pre-ex every other workout. Next time I do back I will drop the pullovers and go right into pulldowns. Same with biceps. This has also helped with the amount of weight I can use after the isolation exercise. I have been on a reduced calorie diet but am still seeing good strength gains. Shrugs were up 40 pounds from last time.
I may also stick with the close grip pulldowns for biceps as I seem to feel them more than the db curl
chest/shoulders/triceps tomorrow. Will try to update more too.
