does alcohol hinder muscle growth
I drink like MAD
so Im wondering. Does assumption of “drinks” screw up ones approach to bodybuilding?

I don′t think “assumption” of drinks does anything. “Consumption” of drinks might.
It won′t hinder muscle growth per se. It might leave you feeling lousy the next day, meaning your workout will suffer, so it will hinder progress indirectly. Other than that, regularly consuming large quantities of alcohol over the medium to long term will screw you royally, even if you don′t notice something day to day. Ask my uncle, who can no longer work and calls me by a different name every time I see him.
I don′t know what you mean by “MAD,” but be careful my young friend. Learn to drink in moderation sooner rather than later.
